Cajuns MLB Systems & Angles Report I
Stats in MLB are used by the handicapper, odds maker, sports writer, sports talk radio, television, gamblers, fantasy players and even the casual fan that reads the box scores in his or her local newspaper. The goal of this report is to use information that is readily available to everyone but not commonly used together in hopes that we can find an edge over the enemy, the odds maker.

MLB: The Twin-Killing and it's Impact
The reason this article is being written now is to help bettors understand that it is absolutely best to analyze their streaks both good and bad. If you're on a good run you are sometimes "in a zone". However, even a poor stretch can happen when the ball seems to consistently bounce against you. The most important thing is not to change what has worked for you long-term just because things have not gone your way short-term. Analyze your streak and see what you can derive from the games.

June Doom for Twins
The Twins climbed back to .500 this week and Minnesota remains a dangerous team at home. Unfortunately June will be spent on the road as the Twins have played the most home games in baseball. Starting June 5th, the Twins will play 19 of the next 25 games on the road and Minnesota should fall behind in the Central standings.

Braves Rising in June
In the NL East it seems to be a forgone conclusion that the Phillies and the Mets will be battling it out through September but another perennial playoff contender is not far behind and could quickly climb back into the picture. The Atlanta Braves were a bit of trendy pick in spring training and although they have floated around .500 most of the year a big push into the thick of the playoff picture could be coming soon.

MLB Umpire Totals Report
MLB has more stats to contend with than any other sport and when it comes to handicapping baseball many players feel overwhelmed by the sheer volume. AL Central Outlook
The White Sox and Padres appear to be close to a deal involving Jake Peavy though he would have to waive his no-trade clause. Of all the teams rumored to make a move of that nature this summer, few expected that Chicago team to be the one making the move. The AL Central is wide open however and it appears like one move could be enough to put any of the five teams over the top in this division.

The Alabama Crimson Tide National Champions 2009-2010
It happened again, another major program was crushed in the Sugar Bowl. This past January, the Utah Utes slashed the Crimson Tide of Alabama and HC Nick Saban 31-17. They did it with speed on the edges and a no-huddle offense. HC Saban did not adjust well to the loss of offensive tackle Andre Smith and the defense looked lost. No excuses in 2009 as the Tide accrued another super recruiting class and return key starters that should project the school into the BCS Championship game. Go inside and we'll give you the added edges.

NFL OVER / UNDERS
Hello Totals players! Welcome to the 2009 NFL Season. Last year's OU article in the Playbook Yearbook got a terrific response from our subscriber base. For this year's article, I'll stick to the same theme as last year, with some additional Over / Under tweaking. The plan is to 'cover' (pun intended) the first month of the NFL season and come up with a Over / Under System that can potentially qualify for that particular week.

MLB Totals: The Real Story
The beauty of handicapping baseball totals is there is no clock involved in the games. Unlike three of the four major sports, there is no clock in baseball. Until that final out is recorded, you are absolutely "in the game". This is what makes playing overs especially appealing in baseball.

NFL Schedule Winners
Most NFL fans are much more excited about the upcoming NFL draft than the release of the NFL 2009 NFL schedule this week but in reality the schedule is much more likely to dictate the results for next season compared with the immediate impact of players added in the draft. A bad schedule can quickly turn a playoff caliber team into a sub-.500 squad and a favorable schedule can turn a losing team into a division champion.

Why You Should Bet on MLB by Vernon Croy
The best sport to wager on is Major League Baseball and it has been for many years because there is just so much value with several games being played everyday and yet it astounds me how few people bet on MLB. If you want to make money betting on sports and you do not wager on MLB then you are cheating yourself out of a lot of money and you are definitely not a professional sports bettor.
